One of our favorite places to chill like a local, drink wine, snack from the best food trucks in town and enjoy the view is Avila Beach Golf Resort. The clubhouse has a huge lawn extending right to the ocean and overlooking Avila’s lovely beach. Here is where you can routinely find fun concerts, food and wine festivals, taco nights, food truck Sunday brunches and movie nights in the summer.
New – VIP Lounge Schedule Just Announced! Schedule and Map too!
And now, for the first time, a Yoga, Art & Music Festival! On Sunday, July 9, the area will be transformed into the coolest event yet. The festival offers over 45 yoga-inspired courses from 12 to 5:30 pm, like full yoga classes, specific workshops, relaxation, meditation, even Stand Up Paddleboard yoga. You’ll see some internationally known Yogis and some of your favorites from San Luis Obispo like Brittni Soo, Rocky Heron and Tulsi Bagnoli.
Take a break in between classes and browse the art activations and shop the vendor booths for some artisan goods from local makers. Get refreshed at the Beverage Bars serving Whalebird Kombucha, La Marca Prosecco (hello bubbles!), Tooth & Nail Rosé + Red Blend, J. Lohr Chardonnay + Cabernet Sauvignon, Tangent Albariño and more. Yummy grub will be available from all the usual food trucks like the Grilled Cheese Incident, Fire & Wine Catering plus Bliss Café’s delicious super-food and vegan creations.
Then from 4 to 8 pm, check out the live music with these fun, eclectic bands. FRENSHIP, whose single “Capsize” went platinum last month, is an electro-pop duo from Los Angeles with soft synths and euphoric beats. These guys met while working at a lululemon store (awesome!) and recently performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live. ROZES, who has co-written and sung with The Chainsmokers, and GoldBoot, with its Las Vegas glamour and lights, will also perform.
There’s nothing better than oceanside yoga with live music and food and bubbles. So grab your friends and your yoga mat (even a blanket and chairs to make your spot) and spend the day chillaxin’, groovin’ or just enjoying the sunshine. This is an all-ages, family-friendly event with something for everyone!
General admission ticket ($45) includes admission into the Avila Beach Yoga and Art Festival with unlimited access to over 45 classes throughout the day featuring local and internationally known instructors, and music performances by GoldBoot, ROZES and FRENSHIP! Food, cocktail, and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.
Lululemon VIP Lounge ticket ($100) includes everything listed above plus bottomless kombucha from Whalebird, wellness boxes with swag and class passes to local studios/gyms, complimentary seated massages, and all day access to the lululemon VIP Lounge and pop-up shop.
