Annual Sparkling Wine Event in Paso Robles’ Downtown Wine District
The wine tasting rooms of downtown Paso Robles are throwing their annual Wine party and Sparkling Wine Event in Paso Robles—The Downtown Vibe—on August 2, 2025! It takes place in the historic, elegant Park Ballroom, in downtown Paso on Park Street. Over 20 downtown wineries will pour wines along with cool tunes, as well as great food provided by some of your favorite downtown food purveyors, like La Cosecha Bar + Restaurant, Di Raimondo’s, The Hatch Rotisserie & Bar, Jeffry’s Wine Country BBQ, Junction Paso, and more.
The best part of the whole event? The Bubbles Lounge! Starting at 10am on Saturday, July 6th, try 8 different Downtown Paso Robles Sparkling Wines along with Brunchy Bites.
Check out the Bubbles you’ll taste at the Sparkling Wine Event in Paso Robles:
- Bushong Vintage Co. makes sparkling Gewürztraminer in the classic Champagne method with grapes are from the Adelaida district. The wine is aged en tirage, meaning on the yeast and lees (grape matter that is leftover from fermentation). This Bubbly has a fuller body plus yeasty aromas, which blends with the fun, aperitif style of the Gewürztraminer grape.
- CaliPaso strives to be an authentic Italian experience in Paso Robles, including bringing in Prosecco DOC from Italy. DOC means Denominazione di Origine Controllata or designation of controlled origin, and is the second-highest quality level of Prosecco in Italy – Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto. So you know it’s good.
- Hayseed & Housdon/Metronome is a Bubbly label by Hayseed & Housdon’s right-hand woman, Holli Epperly, and this sparkling wine is her 2nd release. Metronome Track 2 is a traditional-method Extra Brut Cuvée, and can be purchased in the Hayseed & Housdon tasting room on Railroad, just behind the main row of Paso downtown businesses. Metronome will help raise awareness and funds for a worthy nonprofit: VH1 Save The Music. 🎶
- Hope Family Wines/Treana Blanc de Blancs is the the first sparkling wine by Austin Hope, and its made with 100% Chardonnay. This sparkling brut is produced in the traditional méthode champenoise with notes of citrus and green apple.
- Hoyt Family Vineyards produces an elegant Méthode Champenoise sparkling wine, sourced from Hoyt’s vineyards in Malibu and on the westside of Paso Robles. Made from Chardonnay, it’s light, crisp and refreshing.
- Yeux De Chat is Indigené‘s traditional-method Sparkling Wine from Santa Lucia Highlands fruit, that was aged on the lees for several years. The 5g dosage (making this an Extra Brut Cuvée) produced focus, acidity and restrained mousse with a long and elegant finish.
- PasoSecco is Paso Robles’ newest Bubbles house! It’s also the first and only winery producing Charmat method sparkling wine made from exclusively Paso Robles grapes. It’s all Grenache Blanc, classic and refreshing. Now open at the corner of 13th & Pine, pus get elevated Mimosas on Saturdays and Sundays!
- Tank Garage Winery first opened in an actual garage in Napa Valley, with the aim of celebrating rebels, punk rock, and California dreamin’. Now open in downtown Paso Robles, they showcase their fun labels, unique and rare blends, and never-to-be-drank again bottles (they never make the same wine twice). Ever the innovators, the folks at Tank Garage know how to have fun, especially with their Sparkling Pét Nats, this one, Skateland, made from 67% Barbera, 11% Chardonnay, 6% Grenache, 6% Mourvèdre, 5% Cinsault, and 5% Falanghina. And don’t miss their secret VIP room…shhhh!
